These pictures will give you just a hint, although not really, of how nice this festival is. Not only for the lanterns at night, but also the putting out of the krathongs all through the day and night. Sadly the traditional costumes which were widely worn, are now donned by only a few. Biggest reason is the cost of renting one outfit just for a few hours is quite expensive for the poor Thai workers, unless you happen to own or can borrow one. The outfits just add a sparkle to an already wonderful day and evening.
